TRP Tru-TracPro™

The TRP Tru-TracPro™ programmable incremental encoder is a versatile option for tracking velocity, position, or distance over a wide variety of surfaces at speeds of 3,000 feet per minute.  With resolutions from 1-100,000 CPR, the TRP can be programmed and re-programmed, if needed, to exact system requirements.  It can also be easily restored in the field to factory settings, allowing the user the flexibility and control they require from their system.

Its durable construction ensures reliable performance even in harsh environments, making it ideal for automation, packaging, printing, vision systems, material handling, and more.

EPC’s TRP Tru-TracPro Wheeled encoder offers:

• All-in-one field programmable encoder, measuring wheel & spring-loaded torsion arm
• Teach Index location
• Field calibration for better performance and accuracy
• Programmable to any integer resolution from 1-100,000 CPR
• Internal memory to store user programmable settings as well as factory defaults
• Free, easy to download programmer software for fast implementation
• Easy installation for vertical, horizontal or upside-down orientation on any surface
• Speeds up to 3,000 feet per minute over a variety of surfaces
• System tuning via software rather than changing wheel size
• Potential to reduce cost and inventory for a more simplified system design

While rotary encoders generally provide feedback for rotary motion, the addition of a measuring wheel, gear, or cabledraw assembly, allows a rotary encoder to provide linear displacement data. EPC offers a line of integrated linear
measurement solutions that are available in many standard and custom options. All of EPC’s linear measurement
solutions offer quick and easy installation, while delivering reliable, accurate feedback for applications such as cut-to-length, spooling, length measurement and print registration.
