Current Monitors

Eagle Sensors offers many types of current monitors. These are primarily used for electric heating applications to alert the customer when heaters are staring to fail in a heating system.Current monitors are also used in conjunction with motor monitoring to detect low voltage or single phasing to protect the motor from premature failure. CR Magnetics offers a low cost indicator only current sensor. The sensor will illuminate a small LED which is usually mounted on the customers panel. The application is to monitor a heater burn out. CR45 (PDF)
