Band heaters are used to heat cylindrical surfaces which are prevalent in Plastic Molding. The traditional band heaters are mica insulated with a low thermal expansion alloy sheath. This helps the heat to transfer to the part. The element covers the entire width of the heater. Stock Band Heaters
There are many types of mica band heaters in stock. Nozzle band heaters are stocked from 1” dia. Thru 3” dia. Other bands from stock are 1 pc and 2 pc construction, 3-1/2” dia. thru 12” dia.

Other band heaters are types are Ceramic, Tubular and Cast heaters with both heating and cooling coils for extrusion applications
