Leuze’s New Safety Radar System

Leuze is excited to announce their newest product the Safety Radar System.

They are designed to be used in harsh conditions (dust, dirt, humidity, etc.) and with static objects in a protected area.

The safety radar systems are used for area and access guarding. It detects the bodies of a person and monitors the 3D-protected area for access and presence. Upon entering the protected area, the machine switches to a safe state, and if it detects a person, the machine prevents restarting. The Safe Radar Systems can be used in safety applications up to PL d / SIL 2.
